Enjoy a leisurely drive through the countryside, passing vibrant towns, paddy fields, and coconut plantations. As you ascend into the hills, feel the cool breeze and take in the beautiful green landscapes along the way.

Upon arrival in Kandy, check in to your hotel and take some time to relax and refresh. In the late afternoon, visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic (Sri Dalada Maligawa), one of the most revered Buddhist sites in the world. Set on the edge of Kandy Lake, this magnificent temple houses the sacred tooth relic of Lord Buddha and offers a spiritually rich and culturally immersive experience.

After breakfast, continue your drive through Sri Lanka’s lush interior landscapes to Kitulgala, a beautiful rainforest area famous for its adventure activities. In the morning, set out to explore one of Sri Lanka’s iconic tea plantations and factories.
Walk through emerald-green tea fields and the  tour the factory to learn how fresh leaves are transformed into the world-famous Ceylon Tea.

Next, begin your scenic journey to Ella, one of the most breathtaking towns in the hill country. The drive winds through misty mountains, rolling tea carpets, cascading waterfalls, and dramatic viewpoints.

Upon arrival in Ella, visit the Flying Ravana Adventure Center, a thrilling outdoor park set against the region’s spectacular mountain scenery. Here, you can: Soar across the valley on the famous zip line, enjoying panoramic views. Try other adrenaline-pumping activities such as rope courses, mountain challenges, and adventure swings.

After an exciting afternoon, check in to your hotel and enjoy a peaceful, relaxing evening in Ella, surrounded by cool mountain air, charming cafés, and stunning views.

Later, transfer to Demodara Railway Station to board the iconic Calypso Train at 1:00 p.m. This unique train ride features a roofless cabin, offering stunning views of Sri Lanka’s lush highlands on the journey to Bandarawela.

After the ride, return to Ella and head to the Ravana Pool Club. Relax with a swim, sip a refreshing drink, and enjoy the lively ambiance. As the sun sets, indulge in a delicious dinner at the club’s open-air restaurant.

Conclude the day with a comfortable transfer back to your hotel for a restful night.

After breakfast, depart from Ella and head towards Udawalawe.
En route, make a stop at the beautiful Ravana Waterfall, one of the most iconic cascades in the hill country. 

Continue your journey to Udawalawe. Upon arrival, visit the Craft Tunnel, an authentic traditional pottery retreat where you can learn about Sri Lanka’s age-old craftsmanship. Watch local artisans at work, shaping clay on the wheel, and even try your hand at creating your own small pottery piece, an enriching cultural experience for both kids and adults.

In the afternoon, embark on an exciting Jeep Safari in Udawalawe National Park, one of the best places in the country to spot wild elephants. The park is home to a large population of elephants, as well as water buffalo, deer, monkeys, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species. With its open grasslands and reservoir views, the safari offers excellent wildlife sightings and fantastic photo opportunities.

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin your journey towards the golden beaches of Bentota.
Upon arrival in Bentota, check in to your beach resort and take some time to unwind. 

In the evening, visit the Kosgoda Sea Turtle Conservation Centre, a wonderful sanctuary dedicated to protecting Sri Lanka’s endangered sea turtles. Learn about the conservation efforts, observe different species of turtles, and see how newly hatched babies are cared for before being released into the ocean.
